The passion and vision
Mamachari, is a Japanese bicycle, used to deliver kombucha around SLC over 10 years ago, became the brand that is Utah’s first kombucha brewery. As a local small business, we take pride in knowing that we traditionally ferment the carefully picked organic green tea that is hand crafted, hand bottled, and fermented with love to offer a quality, bold, and refreshing raw kombucha. We source local products as much as possible, such as our steeped premium culinary grade lavender. Other flavorings are no-sugar-added organic real ingredients and freshly cold pressed juices. Our amber bottles protect each brew from UV light exposure and oxidation, preserving the precious probiotics and organic acids inside.
We are enthusiastic about educating our community on the wellness benefits of fermented foods as a whole-istic approach to general health and wellbeing. It is becoming more and more known that our microbiome plays a huge part in how we feel inside and out. Kombucha and water kefir are just a pillar for the options out there full of probiotics. When there were no grocery stores or refrigerators, fermentation was just a way to preserve foods, little did anyone know how much better for our health it was compared to store bought processed foods.
